Our Story

For more than two decades Jasen Barrie has been at the forefront of Queensland coffee culture, challenging and changing the way coffee is roasted and perfecting the processes that go with it.


An artisan roaster and coffee connoisseur, Jasen has worked to raise the skills needed to succeed in the hospitality industry, developing comprehensive training for seasoned and new hospitality workers alike.


The result is a reputation for quality and consistency and a customer base that’s growing locally, and statewide, and expanding week by week.

We LOVE Coffee 

From their base in Hervey Bay, Jasen and his team have developed coffee appreciation with regular tasting workshops for customers, where the flavour, notes, taste, and texture of different roasts are all discussed and demonstrated challenging the coffee sensory journey.


Committed to sustainability, Jasen has championed the use of eco-friendly packaging right through to offering bio-diverse takeaway cups at Jasen's hospitality venues. It's this commitment to sustainability and minimisation of waste that has led to the creation of environmentally friendly plant food from used coffee grounds.


“This is part of our commitment to sustainability, coffee is a very heavy waste and landfill product so to be able to turn it into something that feeds plants and enriches the earth is exciting and an achievement we are proud of,” Jasen says.
